What Global Resorts Network is and why it is an unbeatable business.

New video blogging, dating, resume, conferencing site.

I just came across a new site that combines the latest in social networking with the current emphatuation with video.  The site offers video resumes, video dating, video conferencing, video blogging, and video networking.  Seems a natural outgrowth of the social networking craze and video.  I’m surprised it took this long to be developed and deployed.

  • Video Resumes - enhance your job searching efforts
  • Video Dating - find a partner
  • Video Conferencing - without the high cost, communicate and collaborate
  • Video Blogging - naturally
  • Video Networking - engage other like-minded people

People have been posting their videos to their myspace and facebook pages but this is much, much more.  An oppoptunity to have it all in one box, so to speak.  And the advantages to those with family members in the armed services is great.

Take a look, I highly recommend it.

The Secret of Modern Web Marketing: Providing Value

Do you have a product or service that you want to market on the Internet? Web 2.0 is a modern approach to marketing that utilizes social networks, video campaigns, and other interactive approaches to bring your message to the masses. But one fact has become clear to Web 2.0 marketers: All the forum posts and social networking in the world won’t move your product unless you can provide value to your customers.

Of course you offer a valuable product. The problem is that thousands of other people offer the same thing. So how can you set yourself apart from the competition and give your customers the value they deserve?

To be successful, you need to launch a marketing attack from many different angles. Put yourself in your customers’ shoes. If you want to learn more about real estate investing, are you going to spend time on a bare bones web site that offers nothing but generic advice? Or would you rather browse through a site that contains a thought-provoking blog, hundreds of original content articles, downloadable e-books, videos, and newsletters? All of those features add value to a site, and that value will translate into name recognition and sales.

Many new businesses rush to set up a web site using stock photos and copy script. That might suffice if your business has a strong storefront presence, but imagine trying to draw in customers with nothing more than a sparse set of web pages. Imagine the potential for growth if you were to share daily updates on a blog related to your industry. You could write or outsource a vivid collection of articles that provide valuable information to your readers. What if you developed a complementary e-book full of tips and information for people to download and read at their leisure? You could gain instant credibility by interviewing the leading names on your field. And your readers will appreciate the personal touch of a series of how-to videos or weekly tips delivered to their inboxes.

There are many ways to provide value. The key is to forget about making a sale right at first. Get your site going, fill it with value-added content, and establish a personal relationship with your visitors. It will be your unique blend of informative content, frequent updates, and personal delivery that keeps readers coming back. Once they see how much value they receive from your freebies, they’ll start to wonder what they can get from purchasing your product. Make this logical step easy for them by providing a smooth and easy-to-navigate web site with convenient payment options.

When you provide value on a consistent basis, you begin to establish a reputation for excellence in your field. This reputation will grow with time, and your web presence will grow along with it. Some operations can be outsourced to speed things along, but Google gives preferential treatment to web sites that have been around for a long time. Be patient, build a great site with great content, and prepare to see the sales roll in.

Duplicatable Systems Are a Must Have For Network Marketers

It’s an unfortunate truth that a person cannot be duplicated. Your unique blend of personality, skill, expertise, and persuasion makes you a successful salesperson. But you can’t clone your traits and pass them on to your protégés. Instead, you have to find or develop a duplicatable system that can be used again and again for repeated success for all of the network marketers in your downline.

Why is a duplicatable system so important? Think of the outdated network marketing model that began with your friends and family. Marketers were advised to recruit the people they knew and loved. But this made for some awkward and uncomfortable moments on both sides. What if the marketer’s friends and family weren’t interested in the venture? Would they cause tension by saying, "Thanks, but no thanks"? What if they signed on because they felt obligated, but their hearts weren’t in it? Plus, this system is very limited. Once you run out of friends and family, what do you do? Become a salesperson making cold calls, that’s what.

Now let’s compare that model to a duplicatable system of the past. It used to be a popular strategy to hand out audio tapes at network marketing seminars. Why? Because that approach took advantage of targeted marketing; that is, the people who were being marketed to already had a proven interest in network marketing, or else they wouldn’t have been at the seminar. Targeted marketing has a proven advantage over cold calling or other non-targeted approaches.

Secondly, the audio tape tactic was duplicatable. Anyone could record an audio tape full of useful information to be distributed. And anyone could accept such a tape, listen to it, and decide to join in on the action. It was a convenient strategy that didn’t turn marketers into uncomfortable salespeople. It worked.

Fast forward to the era of Web 2.0 marketing. If you want to be a success, you’ve got to have a system with a proven success rate. It’s not enough to build a web site and hope that people will visit it; you’ve got to entice them into stopping by, browsing around, and, eventually, signing up. If readers see valuable content on your site, they’ll spend more time there and they will return - with friends. So be sure to give them something valuable as a reward. One popular duplicatable system involves e-book downloads.

Picture it: a reader stops by your site and sees a link to a free download. They read through a quick preview of the e-book’s contents and decide that it sounds like a good way to spend their time. They download the e-book, read it, and get blown away by the specific helpful advice they find inside. Hyped up by what they read, they return to your site and leave comments, ask questions in the message forum, or share helpful information of their own. Now you’ve got a lead on someone who really wants the help you have to offer. Get a dialogue going, get them recruited, and share your system with them.

Doesn’t that sound a lot better than hitting up friends and family members? Not everyone can work up the courage to tap a cold market, but anyone can post a link to an e-book on their blog or web site. Your recruits will use the same system to recruit others, building your downline and theirs in a replicating system of income. That’s the beauty of a duplicatable system in action, and that’s why you need one now.

Attraction Marketing - It’s about You

What if someone told you that all you had to do to achieve your dreams was to want them bad enough? It’s not quite as simple as that, but it’s close.

By now, you’ve probably heard of the movie, “The Secret”. It explores the concept of the Law of Attraction, which states that anything you focus on will become reality – for better or for worse. That is, if you focus on negativity, your life will be filled with negative things. But if you spend your time visualizing and moving toward success, you will become successful.

Now you can use the Law of Attraction to maximize your personal development and your network marketing success. You’ve already taken the first step by deciding what you want from life: you want to be a successful network marketer. Now let’s look at the steps you can take to make your dream a reality.

Personal development is an investment in yourself. Like any long-term investment, it requires some time and planning. Set aside some time every week to work on your personal development. Read books and articles, listen to CDs, watch videos, and soak up all the information you can find about being a successful network marketer. Listen to true stories from people who’ve accomplished the goals you’ve set for yourself. When you live, breathe, and constantly focus on becoming a network marketing success, your energy and effort will bring your dream into being. Yes, it’s that easy.

Why is personal development so crucial to network marketing success? You’ve heard the old saying, “You can’t fool all of the people all of the time”. Think about it: if you don’t consider yourself a success, you won’t fool anybody. If you don’t absolutely believe in yourself and your product, people will be reluctant to buy from you. That’s no way to build a down line. Instead, rebuild yourself from the inside out. Carry yourself with pride and confidence as though your success was already in hand. When you see yourself as something special, others will see you that way, too. And they’ll want a piece of the action for themselves.

Does all this positive visualization stuff really work? You bet it does! Use some of your personal development time to read about people who’ve used the Law of Attraction to meet and surpass their network marketing goals. This secret has led wage slaves to become entrepreneurs living the 4 hour work week lifestyle. It’s helped network marketers to overcome painful shyness and become million dollar earners. And it will help you connect with others, build your down line, and maximize your active and passive income.

The Law of Attraction is more than just desire. Idle wishes won’t get you anywhere. Instead, you have to invest in yourself, better yourself, and start thinking and living like a winner. Don’t just hope for great opportunities to arise; expect success, step takes to cultivate it, and watch it happen – starting from within!

Closing the Gap in the Reverse Funnel System

Closing the Gap in the Reverse Funnel System
Greg Mangin

The Reverse Funnel System is an automated marketing system for Global Resorts Network; one of several automated systems.  By it’s very nature, being an automated system, there is no personal branding to make the funnel "sticky" or syndicated.  Without personal branding, prospects slip through the gap between the reverse funnel system and the traditional marketing system.  Personal Branding closes this gap.

We coach our team to use personal branding and the new technologies of the Web2.0 to make a connection with prospects.  This makes the marketing funnel "sticky".  What we mean by sticky is that the prospect will return to the funnel and not go outside the marketing funnel to another site.  When the prospect slips outside the funnel sales are lost.

Personal Branding is becoming an essential part of marketing for nearly every program and direct sales network marketing site on the internet.  The explosion of online video has made personal branding fairly easy to accomplish and any marketer using the techniques that we teach can reap rewards.

My video about using the techniques and methods we teach in regards to the Revers Funnel system of Ty Coughlin can be found on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn1IEh_fQ_4

I had a lot of fun making the video, what you can’t see is my wife on the other side of the camera making faces at me.

Don’t Let Your Dreams Fade Away

Are you among those who are fed up with living your life at the dictates of others while spending almost all your time away from your family? Are you among those who silently whisper a prayer for a better life hoping that some day, something might happen and rescue you from this day-to-day drudgery? There is good news for you right here. You can change your life, you can do what you want, you can be happy and economically productive at the same time.

This is not a miracle or a magical wish come true. This is the plain truth - the Internet brings to you a vast platform of work at home opportunities for those who prefer this mode of earning; it also provides unlimited opportunities to start your home business. There is only one condition - you should commit to the path now; not today, not tomorrow but now.

Did you know that more than 68% people fail in achieving their goals due to procrastination? Studies show that procrastination is the greatest enemy of all productivity and inner motivation. When you allow yourself to postpone any work, you are burdening yourself with guilt and this guilt in turn chokes your willingness to work completing a vicious circle which would sooner than later transform you into a vegetable.

How To Fight The Urge To Procrastinate And Achieve Success

As mentioned earlier the Internet offers you tremendous scope to success with working from home. You could work as a freelance professional - writer, programmer, web designer, copy writer, virtual assistant, and so on. You could use affiliate Internet marketing to earn a comfortable income with comparatively lesser effort than any regular job. You could fill in questionnaires, or sell merchandise on e-bay; the choices are unending.

You can do anything you can put your mind to, provided you have clear cut goals and focus on these goals with a one-track mind. Contrary to common belief work at home does not translate into earning while doing no work. On the contrary, in order to see your home business or work at home efforts succeed you need to observe strict self-discipline and schedules, which are more difficult than you think.

When you work you have your boss telling you what to do when to do; at home it is your decision when to do and what to do. If you procrastinate and leave for the last minute (or worse never get to do it) you would always be a few steps away from achieving success; from achieving freedom from the 9 to 5 job without compromising on your pay packet. It is very easy to say - "I will do it a little later" and that is okay if it is occasional. However, if that becomes the rule, you might as well forget about your dream to stay at home with your family while working - because this is not for you.

Do Not Kill Your Dreams - Nurture Them

The Internet is an extraordinary vehicle which could help you achieve all your dreams. Do a search on the Net and see how many people have made it big with the help of the Internet. Some of the stories are exceptionally inspiring which set you thinking - if he or she could do it, why not me? Why not indeed?

Start today. Draw up a list of your strengths and then analyze what you could use or do to earn income on the Internet. Allow three to four weeks for intensive research and then go for it. You can do it as thousands before you have done it, provided you act today, now. Stop procrastination from killing your dreams.

GRN: Using Personal Branding and the Web2.0

GRN: Using Personal Branding and the Web2.0

Starting a business is obviously as difficult as to maintain it. As a matter of fact, statistics show that about 9 out of 10 businesspersons fail in their business and with this known fact, a lot of people who would want to start up their own business are scared to actually start one. Of course, investing in a business means risking their hard earned savings and with a single mistake, one could lose everything once their business goes belly up.

According to most researches, however, the primary reason why people don’t start their business is that they have no funds to do so or they cannot get external funding from small business loans. Nowadays, however, in this world dominated by e-business, more opportunities are open for entrepreneurs as it is not possible to engage in home business. The Global Resorts Network is one such opportunity, and it needs less capital, too.

GRN (Global Resorts Network) is a business wherein affiliates would offer the client membership in a luxury resort membership enabling them unrestricted access and discounts to resorts and vacation packages maintained by GRN. Members of the network gets discount vacation packages which they could then resell at market prices, thereby earning them profit. Not to mention the fact that when a member refers someone to become a part of the network and that new member makes a sale, the referrer gets a commission from that sale. Sounds really simple, right?

Now, if you were to become an affiliate of the GRN, you will need to have your own website and your site needs to be popular. Personal branding is really important in this business. This means you will have to personally vouch for the effectiveness of the product you are selling, so in GRN’s case, you will need to tell people about your experience with them, and you will also need to show them figures to ensure that the system is really working. This is one way to get people to trust you and your business, and in effect, trust in the services of GRN. If you’re extremely lucky, you won’t only get sales but you can also have residual income from the sales of your referrals. In personal branding, your friends, other relatives and co-workers would recognize you and then they would see what you have in store for them. This process works the same as the snowball effect - people who know you tell people about your experience and then they vouch for you because of the times you’ve spent together, and so the process goes on.

Another way of marketing GRN is through Web 2.0. Actually this "phrase" still involves a lot of confusion but essentially means the new version of the World Wide Web which enables communities trying to build up sites which are rich in information. In general, this new term says that there is a network effect that is created with the contribution of each user and that is what GRN wants to happen. Through the sites which are Web 2.0, more information can be learnt about GRN and its services, some of it might be good, and others can be bad. But what’s important is that there are enough people who know about GRN and are able to see both sides of the same coin. Of course if GRN were to make its site that’s full of praises for their system, then there are more people who won’t trust them. With better communication in the Web 2.0 platform, people who have experienced business with them can share their reviews and help the Network make a better system for their business to improve.

Check out the brief video below for more ideas on personal branding and web2.0
